WiFi Front End Module For High-Performance Dual-Band Applications: RF5608
The RF5608 is a single-chip dual-band integrated front-end module (FEM) for high-performance WLAN applications in the 2.5GHz and 5GHz ISM bands. The RF5608 addresses the need for aggressive size reduction for a typical 802.11a/b/g RF front-end design and greatly reduces the number of components outside of the core chipset therefore minimizing the footprint and assembly cost of the overall 802.11a/b/g solution.
2.4 GHz ZigBee®/Smart Energy Front-End Module: SKY66109-11
The SKY66109-11 is a front-end module with quite a few components integrated into it. These include a power amplifier with up to +22.5 dBm output power, and low noise amplifier with programmable bypass, and an antenna switching with transmit and receive diversity function.
ALM-1712 - GPS RF Front End Module With FBAR Filters
Avago Technologies’ ALM-1712 is a GPS front-end module that combines a low-noise amplifier (LNA) with GPS FBAR filters. The LNA uses Avago Technologies’ proprietary GaAs Enhancement-mode pHEMT process to achieve high gain with very low noise figure and high linearity.
Front End Module For Handheld WiFi And Bluetooth® Systems: RF5755
The RF5755 provides a complete integrated solution in a single Front End Module (FEM) for WLAN 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth® systems. The ultra small form factor and integrated matching greatly reduces the number of external components and layout area in the customer application. This simplifies the total Front End solution by reducing the bill of materials, system footprint, and manufacturability cost. The RF5755 integrates a 2.4GHz Power Amplifier (PA), Low Noise Amplifier (LNA), power detector coupler for improved accuracy, and some filtering for harmonic rejection. The RF5755 is capable of receiving WLAN and Bluetooth® simultaneously. The device is provided in a 3mmx3mmx0.5mm, 16-pin package. This module meets or exceeds the RF Front End needs of IEEE 802.11b/g/n WLAN RF systems.
High-Linearity 2.5 GHz Front-End Modules (FEMs)
Qorvo presents a new series of high-linearity 2.5 GHz Front-End Modules (FEMs) built for automotive Wi-Fi applications, 802.11b/g/n, and Bluetooth® systems. These devices feature integrated b/g/n power amplifiers, directional power detectors, RX balun, and TX filtering. Each FEM contains an ultra-small form factor and integrated matching that greatly reduces the number of external components and layout area in the customer application.
5 GHz Front-End-Module: SKY85716-11
This fully matched front-end-module (FEM) comes with an integrated 5 GHz power amplifier with harmonic mode, and a low noise amplifier with bypass mode and an SPDT switch. It’s designed for WiFi-enabled handsets/tablets, system-in-package (SIP) modules for embedded systems, and 802.11n/ac smartphones and tablets.

RFMD’s AMI/AMR Smart Energy Tx/Rx Front End Modules consists of three separate models ideal for wireless automatic metering, single chip RF front end module, portable battery powered equipment, and 868MHz/900MHz ISM band applications.
GNSS Filter/LNA Front End Module: ANGP-F001
The ANGP-F001 combines a low-noise amplifier (LNA) with a GNSS FBAR pre-LNA filter. This module features a very low noise figure, a CMOS compatible shutdown pin (SD), advanced GaAs E-pHEMT and FBAR technology, exceptional Cell/DCS/PCS/WLAN-Band rejection, and more.
5 GHz 802.11ac Front-End Module: SKY85717-21
Skyworks offers the SKY85717-21 as a highly-integrated, 5 GHz front-end module comprised of a 5 GHz single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) transmit/receive switch, a 5 GHz low noise amplifier with bypass, and a 5 GHz power amplifier. The module is ideal for 802.11 ac set-top boxes, networking, personal computer systems, and WLAN enabled wireless video systems.
3.3V, 2.4GHz Front End Module: RF6575
The RF6575 3.3V, 2.4GHz Front End Module integrates a complete solution in a single Front End Module (FEM) for WiFi and ZigBee® applications in the 2.4GHz to 2.5GHz band. This FEM integrates the PA plus harmonic filter in the transmit path. The RF6575 has an integrated LNA. Also, the RF6575 provides a single balanced TDD access for RX and TX paths along with two ports on the output for connecting a diversity solution or a test port.
