When To Use Frequency Selective Power Sensors
Source: Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG

When characterizing highly complex wireless signals such as those used in 5G, there is a need to measure individual signals in the presence of nearby spectral content. As with an RF receiver, frequency-selective measurements filter out nearby signals, thereby reducing noise and improving measurement sensitivity. This can be advantageous when characterizing low-level signals at cellular base stations or satellite ground stations. To learn more, download the full application note.
