This 6–18 GHz, 150 W amplifier delivers ultra-wideband performance, Class A/AB linearity, rugged reliability, built-in protections, and flexible control in a compact rack-mounted system.
Engineered for demanding EMI/RFI, laboratory, continuous-wave (CW), pulse, and broadband communication environments, this high-power amplifier delivers exceptional performance across an instantaneous 6.0 to 18.0 GHz operating range. Its advanced Class A/AB linear design provides a minimum of 55 dB gain with better than 5 dB peak-to-peak flatness, ensuring stable, predictable output even under dynamic test conditions. With 150 W typical saturated output power and 100 W minimum at P1dB, the system offers the power density required for modern, high-throughput test setups.
Built for rugged reliability, the amplifier integrates high-efficiency, advanced semiconductor devices along with extensive protection circuitry, including input overpower protection, load VSWR protection up to 3:1, and foldback safeguards at preset thresholds. Harmonics below –20 dBc and spurious levels under –60 dBc support clean spectral performance for sensitive communication and interoperability testing. Two-tone intermodulation of –30 dBc (typical) at 40 dBm per tone further highlights the unit’s linearity for multi-carrier applications.
