The AMP20141 is a solid-state, high-power pulse amplifier from Exodus Advanced Communication, designed for demanding RF applications such as EMI/RFI testing, HIRF, laboratory use, and pulse radar systems.

Built on advanced Class AB linear technology, this rack-mounted amplifier delivers robust and reliable performance across the UHF frequency range of 400 to 1000 MHz. It offers a minimum peak pulse output power of 4.0 kW and a gain of 66 dB, with superior gain flatness (±2 dB) and high efficiency.

The amplifier supports input pulse widths up to 100 µs, a duty cycle of up to 6%, and pulse repetition frequencies up to 100 kHz. Fast rise/fall times (<50 ns) and low droop (<1 dB) make it well-suited for high-speed pulsed applications. Built-in protection circuits safeguard the amplifier against input overpower and load mismatches up to a 4:1 VSWR. The device also includes optional forward/reflected RF sample ports, digital control (including Ethernet, RS422/485, USB, GPIB), and calibrated power monitoring for accuracy within ±0.2 dB.

The AMP20141 is housed in a compact 10U rackmount enclosure (483 x 442 x 600 mm) weighing 45 kg and featuring an intuitive LCD interface for real-time system monitoring (FWD/RFL power, VSWR, voltage/current, temperature, ALC, and alarms).
