10 MHz - 18.0 GHz, 20 dBm Solid State Medium Power Amplifier: LNA80002

lna80002

The new bench-top RF amplifier is designed to meet the demanding requirements of EMI/RFI testing, laboratory experiments, CW/Pulse operation, and all communication applications.

Its compact form factor makes it ideal for space-constrained setups without compromising performance or reliability. Built with Class A linear advanced technology, the system delivers high linearity, ensuring consistent signal amplification across single-channel modulation standards.

Engineered for ultra-broad instantaneous bandwidth, this amplifier offers flexible operation from 10 MHz to 18 GHz with 20 dBm minimum output power at P1dB for both CW and pulsed signals. The linear gain is 30 dB typical, with a power gain flatness of ±2.5 dB, providing precise amplification even with constant input power. Low noise figures of 6 dB typical (10 dB max) and excellent harmonic and spurious suppression (–20 dBc and –60 dBc respectively) ensure clean, high-fidelity signals for accurate testing.

Built-in protection circuits safeguard against overload and mismatched loads, with input power handling up to +8 dBm and load VSWR protection to infinity:1. The unit operates on universal AC voltage (100–240 VAC, 47–63 Hz) and consumes a maximum of 50 W, offering efficiency without sacrificing ruggedness or reliability.

Mechanically, the amplifier is lightweight (6 kg) and compact (210 × 100 × 300 mm excluding brackets), with robust RF connectors (N or SMA female) and standard AC and interface connections, making integration straightforward. Designed to operate in ambient temperatures from 0 to 50 °C and withstand storage conditions from –40 to 70 °C, it remains dependable even in high-humidity or high-altitude environments.

This amplifier combines exceptional performance, flexibility, and durability, making it a versatile solution for modern RF and communication testing applications.
