The AMP60019 Solid State High Power Pulse Amplifier is a compact, rack-mounted S-band amplifier designed for demanding RF environments, including EMI/RFI testing, radar, laboratory, high-intensity radiated field (HIRF), and pulse applications.

Featuring a Class AB linear design, the unit combines high power performance, rugged reliability, and advanced control features in a small 5U form factor.

Operating across 9.6 to 9.9 GHz, the AMP60019 delivers a minimum of 1000 W peak pulse power with 60 dB power gain and a gain flatness of ±2.0 dB. The amplifier supports pulse widths up to 50 μs and duty cycles up to 10%, with a maximum PRF of 10 kHz. Its low pulse-to-pulse amplitude variation (0.1 dB typical) and harmonic suppression (< -30 dBc) ensure exceptional linearity and signal integrity for critical RF testing and communications tasks.

Engineered for flexibility and protection, the system includes input power and load VSWR protection (up to 4:1), foldback limits, and an On/Off control via TTL gate. An optional Digital Monitor & Control (DMC) interface provides real-time monitoring of forward/reverse power, VSWR, gain, current, voltage, and temperature, with Ethernet, USB, and RS422/485 connectivity (GPIB optional).

Built for rugged environments, the AMP60019 operates from 100–240 VAC, within 0°C to +50°C, and includes variable-speed fan cooling. With its robust design, advanced protection circuits, and precise monitoring capabilities, the AMP60019 delivers high-efficiency, pulse-stable amplification for today’s most demanding RF applications.
