18.0 - 26.5 GHz, 800 Watt Solid State High Power Amplifier: AMP40064 Datasheet

This high-power Ka-band amplifier system delivers outstanding performance for EMI/RFI, laboratory, CW/pulse, and advanced communication applications. Engineered with Class A/AB linear architecture and cutting-edge solid-state power devices, it provides instantaneous ultra-wideband coverage from 18 to 26.5 GHz and up to 1 kW typical saturated output power (800 W minimum). With a minimum 60 dB gain and 20 dB adjustable range, operators benefit from precise control and superior linearity, achieving –30 dBc two-tone intermodulation at 50 dBm per tone.

Designed for mission-critical environments, the system incorporates comprehensive protection and monitoring, including input overpower tolerance up to +10 dBm, 4:1 load VSWR resiliency with fold-back control, and harmonic and spurious suppression to –20 dBc and –60 dBc respectively. It features local LCD interface plus flexible remote control, supporting seamless integration into automated test and high-performance communication platforms.

Powered from a 120/208 VAC 3-phase WYE source, this amplifier consumes 6 kW at full output and is built for rugged reliability under continuous-duty operation. Optional sample port coupling is available at –40 dB for precision monitoring.
