2.0 - 3.5 GHz, 1000 W Solid State High Power Amplifier: AMP30007 Datasheet
The AMP30007 is a rugged, high-performance solid state amplifier engineered for S-Band high power pulse applications.
Based on a Class AB linear GaN design, it delivers exceptional efficiency, reliability, and stability, making it ideal for mission-critical environments. With a typical peak output power of 1000 Watts (minimum 800 Watts at 5% duty cycle), the AMP30007 provides the power density required for demanding radar, defense, and industrial applications.
The amplifier features fast pulse handling with rise and fall times under 75 ns (10–90%), a switching delay time of 200 ns typical, and pulse widths up to 100 µs. Power gain is rated at 60 dB nominal, with gain flatness of 2.0 dB p-p, ensuring consistent signal amplification across its 2.0 to 3.5 GHz frequency range. Additional performance specifications include harmonics of -20 dBc typical and spurious suppression of -65 dBc maximum.
Built-in monitoring and protection circuits enhance system reliability, including input power protection (+5 dBm for <10 seconds), load VSWR protection up to 10:1 for one minute, and an integrated isolator for stable operation. An optional built-in fast pulse modulator further expands system integration flexibility.
Engineered for durability, the AMP30007 supports operating case temperatures from -20°C to +75°C, storage down to -40°C, humidity up to 95% non-condensing, and altitudes up to 3000 meters. Compact and robust, it operates from a nominal 50 VDC supply with a maximum current draw of 10 A average and 100 A peak.
The AMP30007 combines power, speed, and rugged reliability, making it a proven solution for modern S-Band pulse applications.
