0.8 - 3.2 GHz, 1000 W Solid State High Power Amplifier: AMP20114 Datasheet

Engineered for demanding EMI/RFI, EMC, EW, radar, and communications environments, this 0.8–3.2 GHz high-power amplifier delivers exceptional linearity, bandwidth, and reliability in a compact rack-mounted platform. Designed with a Class A/AB linear architecture and advanced high-power devices, the system provides 1000 W typical peak pulse output and 500 W minimum CW performance, ensuring consistent results across lab validation, automotive pulse radar testing, and industry-standard compliance applications.

With up to 560 µs pulse width, 10% duty cycle, and 10 kHz PRF capability, the amplifier maintains tight pulse fidelity, including 1 dB typical droop and fast 50 ns rise/fall times. A minimum 60 dB gain and 20 dB adjustable gain range—available locally or remotely—enable flexible system integration, while 4.0 dB p-p gain flatness ensures stable performance across the band. Excellent spectral purity is achieved with <-30 dBc two-tone IMD, <-20 dBc harmonics, and -60 dBc spurious performance.

Comprehensive protection features safeguard both the amplifier and connected equipment. Built-in monitoring circuits provide input power protection up to +10 dBm, load VSWR protection to 4:1, foldback at preset limits, and an -80 dB on/off ratio via TTL gate control. Operating from 220 VAC single-phase power (with optional 120/208 VAC three-phase), the unit balances high efficiency with rugged reliability, consuming 5500 W CW and 2500 W pulse at rated output.

A local LCD interface and flexible remote control options simplify operation, making this amplifier a powerful, dependable solution for high-performance RF testing and communication systems.
