1.0 - 18.0 GHz Low Noise Amplifier: LNA70016

lna70016

This compact broadband coaxial power amplifier delivers consistent, high-performance operation across an exceptionally wide frequency range of 1.0 to 18.0 GHz, making it ideal for multi-band RF systems, broadband communication platforms, electronic warfare receivers, test equipment, and general-purpose lab use.

With a typical power gain of 35 dB and minimum output power of 8 dBm at P1dB, it ensures reliable amplification of low-level signals while maintaining excellent linearity and spectral purity.

Designed with versatility in mind, this amplifier features a low typical noise figure of 2.5 dB, making it suitable for both transmit-chain gain blocks and receive-chain low-noise stages where signal integrity is critical. Gain flatness of 3 dB p-p across the full bandwidth further supports stable performance in wideband systems, while input/output VSWR of ≤2.5:1 maximizes power transfer and minimizes mismatch losses.

Powered from a simple 12–15 VDC source with just 110 mA typical current draw, the amplifier offers efficient operation and straightforward integration into existing RF assemblies, portable platforms, and embedded systems. Its rugged environmental performance supports reliable function from –20 °C to +60 °C operating case temperature, with storage capability down to –40 °C and up to +85 °C.

Housed in a compact 30.5 × 21.6 × 11.5 mm package with SMA female RF connectors, this device delivers broadband capability in a size suitable for space-constrained designs. With EAR99 classification and durable construction, it is a versatile, globally deployable solution for researchers, integrators, and RF system designers seeking dependable broadband amplification in mission-critical and lab environments.
