The AMP20090 is a high-performance, small form factor rack-mounted amplifier designed for demanding EMI/RFI, lab, HIRF, and high-peak pulse applications.
Operating across 1.0–2.5 GHz with instantaneous L- and S-Band bandwidth, it leverages advanced Class A/AB GaN devices to deliver a minimum peak pulse output of 8 kW. The amplifier supports pulses up to 100 µs with a 6% duty cycle, fast <50 ns rise/fall times, and less than 1 dB droop, ensuring precise and reliable signal amplification for high-fidelity testing and operational scenarios.
With a 69 dB minimum gain and 5 dB flatness, the AMP2074P-LC-8KW provides robust performance while offering 20 dB adjustable gain locally or remotely. Built-in protection circuits safeguard against input power spikes and load mismatches (up to 4:1 VSWR), while extensive monitoring, optional calibrated power monitoring, and flexible interfaces—including LCD, TTL gate control, GPIB, and RF sample ports—allow comprehensive system integration and real-time performance verification.
The unit is optimised for reliability and ruggedness, capable of operating in ambient temperatures from 0 to 50 °C, storage from –40 to 85 °C, and relative humidity up to 95%.
