80 - 1000 MHz, 1300 Watt Solid State High Power Amplifier: AMP20130 Datasheet

The Exodus AMP20130 is a solid-state high power amplifier designed for EMI/RFI testing, laboratory use, communication applications, and more. This rack-mounted system features a compact form factor and utilizes Class A/AB linear design for high efficiency, reliability, and ruggedness. The amplifier covers an exceptionally wide frequency range of 80–1,000MHz and delivers powerful output, with a minimum of 1,300W and a typical output of 1,500W continuous wave (CW) at saturation. At the P1dB compression point, output ranges from 700W minimum to 1,000W typical. The device offers a minimum gain of 61dB and includes a 20dB gain adjustment range, operable locally or remotely.

Performance is further optimized through advanced protection circuits and flexible monitoring options, including built-in sample ports for RF signal sampling, extensive remote control interfaces (Ethernet, RS422/485, USB, and optional GPIB), and optional digital monitoring and control. These features allow for real-time oversight of power, gain, voltage, current, temperature, and more.

Mechanically, the amplifier measures 480x800x400mm, weighs up to 60kg, and uses air-liquid cooling for quiet operation. It is built for rugged environments, withstanding ambient temperatures from 0°C to +50°C in operation, and up to 3,000m altitude. Humidity tolerance reaches 95% non-condensing. For enhanced precision, calibrated power monitoring with offset correction is available, along with forward and reflected RF sample options.
