The Exodus Advanced Communications AMP20184 is a solid-state, high-power amplifier designed for various applications, including EMI/RFI testing, laboratory use, CW/Pulse operations, and all communication needs.

It features a small form factor, suitable for rack mounting, and utilizes a Class A/AB Linear design with high-power advanced technology devices. The amplifier offers instantaneous ultra-wide bandwidth, built-in protection circuits with extensive monitoring, and flexible local LCD and remote interfaces. It is also noted for its high efficiency, reliability, and ruggedness.

Electrically, the AMP20184 operates within a frequency range of 0.8 to 2.5 GHz. It provides a minimum power output of 500 Watts at saturation (Psat) for CW or Pulse applications, with a typical power output of 200 Watts at 1dB compression (P1dB). The minimum power gain is 57 dB, requiring 0 dBm or less for rated output power. Gain flatness is a maximum of 3 dB peak-to-peak with constant input power, and a gain adjustment range of 20 dB is available locally or remotely. Other electrical specifications include a maximum input/output return loss of -10 dB, typical 2-Tone Intermodulation (IMD) of -30 dBc, and typical harmonics of -20 dBc at rated output.
