Global Biotech Improves Clinical Trial Patient Recruitment With Digital Matching
A global biotech initiated a phase III study for severe allergic asthma. Study protocol originally accounted for enrolling 222 patients across nine UK-based investigator sites. After deploying traditional recruitment methods, the sponsor only managed to randomize 20% of the target patient population in 11 months. By partnering with a solution provider they were able to get patient recruitment back on track and meet enrollment targets faster, which would not have been possible with a traditional recruitment approach.

ABOUT
Custom RF
Custom RF Designs have become commonplace today when just a few years ago custom RF was the realm of large conglomerates with deep research pockets. The tools to conduct customized RF projects are plentiful and are easily obtainable online as well as almost any electronic shop in the neighborhood. Electronic components are a commodity now and chips, resisters, capacitors and any component that is needed to complete a circuit board for any function can be found anywhere.
These custom RF circuits can be built to power anything from a radio control airplane whether controller unit can be built from scratch as well as the receivers The RF module can be purchased too and just added to the custom project. It is also possible to build custom controllers for TV and remote alarm systems. The RF portion is just a control module with a simple interface that allows remote operation.
Custom RF projects are usually initiated by customers who can’t find a readymade module in the market for a specific project. A case in point would be the RF module for a swimming pool filtration system. The custom RF module would have to be water tight and the entire module be protected from steam as well as water. The physical box would have to be customized. However, the operational aspects can be customized too. There are numerous reasons for this and almost all requirements can be accommodated with today's technology. Most companies tend to custom make their devices to fit their various needs.
