High-End Signal and Spectrum Analyzer: R&S FSW85
7/17/2015
The R&S FSW85 is the latest addition to Rohde & Schwarz’ family of signal and spectrum analyzers. It is the only device on the market designed to cover the frequency range from 2 Hz to 85 GHz in a single sweep, allowing users to test baseband and RF with a single analyzer. Test setups are now much simpler, since the R&S FSW85 does not require harmonic mixers. An internal preselection feature suppresses the image frequency and other spurious emissions that commonly occur during harmonic mixing.

Microwave USB Power Sensor (MA24118A)
6/16/2009
The MA24118A power sensor is designed to provide accurate average power measurements from 10 MHz to 18 GHz over 60 dB of dynamic range. The sensor employs a "dual path" architecture that provides (similar to thermal sensor) True-RMS measurements over the entire frequency and dynamic range, enabling users to make highly accurate average power measurements for CW, multi-tone, and digitally modulated signal up to 18 GHz. The sensors have internal and external triggering capability that facilitates individual slot power measurements of TDMA waveforms as well as burst power measurements of periodic and non-periodic waveforms.

PIM Hunter
12/6/2016
In 2010, Anritsu announced that it had invented and succeeded in developing a patented technology that pinpoints PIM faults called Distance-to-PIM™ (DTP). DTP shows the location for PIM problems within the antenna system, as well as distance to external PIM sources outside the antenna system. This was an incredible step forward in improving the quality of information received from the on-site PIM test. But one problem still remained for pinpointing external PIM beyond the antenna, DTP could tell you how far away from the antenna the PIM source was located, but not the angle. If the antenna had a 120 degree beamwidth, the PIM could be located anywhere along the 120 degree arc at the distance measured by DTP.
Anritsu is now pleased to announce their new solution with the introduction of PIM Hunter, a patent-pending technology that allows a test technician to pinpoint the location of external PIM beyond the antenna. By walking along the arc of the DTP distance from the antenna with PIM Hunter™, the technician can pinpoint the source of the PIM typically within a few centimeters.
