GSK Series Connectors And Adapters
A line of GSK series coaxial connectors and adapters designed for the OEM market for use in amplifier housings, broadband modems, headend equipment, and fiber optic node equipment for HFC networks
Cables and Adapters
MECA offers rugged and reliable between series adapters (bullets) and bulkhead adapters to provide simplified connectivity for your projects. Rugged jumper cables are also available, and come in the three of the most commonly used cable types (RG142, LMR240, LMR400). SMA, N, 7/16 DIN, BNC, and TNC connector style cables are available from stock. Several models from both products lines are available. The datasheet below contains information on their specifications, as well as links to individual model’s datasheets.
BNC RF connectors are the most popular coaxial connector. The special bayonet design allows easy mating and unmating. BNC 50 ohm connectors provide repeatable electronic performance from DC to 4 GHz. BNC 75 ohm connectors are suitable for applications up to 1 GHz.
RF Adapters For Compliance Testing
RF Adapters For Compliance Testing, Here is a listing of the most common required adapters.
Antenna Mounting Adapter AM Series
The Model AM Series consists of antenna mounting adapters that will allow polarization change during horizontal and vertical testing without removing the antenna from its tripod. The AM Series comes with a 20” non-metallic mast and is available for the earlier version antenna models listed below. Model Antenna AM1000 AT1000, AT1000A AM1001 AT1080, AT1080A AM6000 AT 5080, AT6080 NOTE: The AM series adapter comes standard on the AT1080B and AT6080A models.
N Series Test Adapters
A line of N series coaxial adapters designed for the OEM market to test amplifier housings, broadband modems, headend equipment, and tuner modules
Krytar has just launched a new line of coaxial adapters that cover from DC to 40 GHz, depending on the model selected. The adapters come with SMA, 2.4, and 2.92 mm connector types
Waveguide To Coax Adapters: SWC Series
The SWC series of waveguide to coax adapters are ideal for applications involving test labs, instrumentation, and sub-assemblies. They feature low insertion loss and VSWR, right angle and end launch options, up to full waveguide band operation, and more. These adapters operate in the 18 to 110 GHz frequency range.
SMA connectors, short for SubMiniature Version A, are semi-precision, subminiature devices that provide repeatable electrical performance from DC to 12.4 GHz with flexible cable. SMA connectors feature screw-type coupling. Semi-Rigid cabling extends the frequency range of the device to 18GHz. SMA connectors offer broadband performance with low reflections and constant 50 ohm impedance. These properties, along with minimum attenuation and low VSWR have made the SMA connector extremely popular in the microwave community. LTI SMA connectors are designed to conform to MIL-C-39012 specifications.
