World's Smallest YIG Oscillators: Low Noise, 2 To 8 GHz

Micro Lambda Wireless, Inc. announces the production release of TO-8 PC Board compatible YIG-Tuned oscillators covering 2 to 8 GHz. Three model series providing optional physical sizes and very low phase noise performance covering the 2 to 8 GHz frequency band are now available.

Utilizing new permanent magnets and SiGe transistors, these units are available in three standard package configurations .500" tall, .350" tall and .270" tall. All units have a .675" diameter cylinder package. They provide 10 dBm power output levels and operate over the 0 to 65 C commercial temperature ranges. Extended temperature models to 85 C are available for all models.

Phase noise performance of -100 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset and -125 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz offset are guaranteed for all model types.

Applications include Analyzers, Generators, Receivers, and Frequency Synthesizers.
