European Microwave Week offers access to the latest products, research, and initiatives in the microwave sector, along with the chance for face-to-face interaction with leaders shaping the future of microwave technology.

2023 European Microwave Week (EuMW) will be held in Berlin from September 17–22 and the theme for this year’s event is “Waves Beyond Walls.” The event is organized by the European Microwave Association (EuMA), a nonprofit organization that aims to develop education, training, and research activities. The event is expected to draw more than 4,000 attendees and will include:

  • Three cutting-edge conferences
  • Three forums
  • One trade and technology exhibition
  • Technical seminars
  • Exhibitor workshops

This is the 26th edition of EuMW – the largest trade show in Europe dedicated to microwaves and RF – with the inaugural event held in 1998.

What To Know

The EuMW 2023 event is made up of three conferences: the European Microwave Conference (EuMC), the European Microwave Integrated Circuits Conference (EuMIC) and the European Radar Conference (EuRAD). These three conferences focus on revolutionary advancements in microwave research. The presentations showcase the most recent trends in the industry, influenced by industry roadmaps.

  • EuMC: The 2023 European Microwave Conference is Europe’s largest conference dedicated to microwave, millimeter-wave, and terahertz devices, systems, and technologies and will give you opportunities to share and discuss your recent findings with peers and experts across this region of the spectrum.
  • EuMIC: The EuMIC conference is jointly organized by the GAAS Association and EuMA and is the premier European technical conference for all topics ranging from RF, microwave, and terahertz electronics over to ultra-fast mixed-signal circuits and systems to optoelectronics. Established as the key contributor to the success of the overall European Microwave Week, the EuMIC conference is the largest scientific event in Europe related to microwave integrated circuits.
  • EuRAD: This Radar Conference is the major European event for the present status and future trends in the field of radar research, technology, system design, and applications. The EuRAD conference will bring together a global network of researchers, practitioners, and institutes working on topics related to the following four areas of focus: Radar Sub-systems and Phenomenology, Radar Signal and Data Processing, Radar Architecture and Systems, and Radar Applications.

Along with these conferences, there will be the Defense, Security and Space Forum, an Automotive Forum, and a 5G to 6G Forum. In addition, the event will have an exhibition featuring around 300 companies.

All delegates and visitors who have registered will be granted unrestricted access to the exhibition area and all the activities it offers. The exhibition will be held from Tuesday to Thursday, providing visitors with an opportunity to explore the latest products and services offered by companies in the semiconductor, test and measurement, software, and other industries.

Don’t Forget The Exhibition!

The European Microwave Exhibition is the largest trade show dedicated to Microwaves and RF in Europe, offering an unrivaled opportunity to present products and technological developments, and form relationships with relevant and interested spectators including academics, professionals, and industry figureheads. It also offers a forum for discussing trends and exchanging scientific and technical information.
