Visit Us At Embedded World For The First Opportunity To Experience The Company's Innovative New Range Of BodyWave UWB Antennas

Find us on Booth 3-109

Embedded World, Nuremberg April 9th-11th will be the first opportunity to experience the three recently announced new BodyWave antennas, which strengthen the company’s offering in the UWB frequency.

As the first commercially available antenna specifically designed to mitigate against the unique reliability challenges experienced by wireless wearables, BodyWave antennas offer unprecedented performance at a range of frequencies including 1.9GHz, 2.4GHz and UWB.

Each of the three new UWB antennas have been developed in direct response to the market’s growing interest in UWB as a wireless technology and complement the existing 6.5GHz BodyWave UWB Channel 5 antenna. Included in the new range is the most compact BodyWave antenna we've developed to date, with a size of just 5x5x2mm, making BodyWave antennas suitable for much smaller form factors than was previously the case.

Commenting on these latest additions to the BodyWave antenna range, AntennaWare CEO Dr Gareth Conway explained, “As the world moves up in frequency due to congestion in the 2.4GHz frequency, the problem of body blocking becomes even greater for any wireless device placed close to or on the body, which only increases the requirement for the unique properties of BodyWave antennas. ”

The BodyWave UWB antenna range includes:

  • 6.5 GHz UWB Channel 5 antenna
  • 6.5 GHz & 8 GHz BodyWave UWB Channel 5 & 9 antenna
  • 6.5GHz – 8 GHz BodyWave UWB Channel 5-9 antenna
  • 8 GHz BodyWave Channel 9 antenna – the most compact BodyWave antenna to date with dimensions of 5x5x2 mm

(Bespoke form factors are also possible)

Technology demos across frequencies and applications
In addition to the UWB antenna range, visit the AntennaWare booth where the team will be showing a series of live demos highlighting the performance and reliability gains achieved by BodyWave antennas.

The demos will span RF frequencies and a range of wireless wearable applications covering audio, healthcare, sports wearables and industrial IoT asset tracking.

AntennaWare Co-Founder Dr Gareth Conway to present at the Embedded World Conference
We are also delighted to confirm that AntennaWare Co-Founder and CEO Dr Gareth Conway will present a paper entitled "Understanding and Solving the Wireless Connectivity Problem on Difficult Platforms" on Day 3 at the highly regarded Embedded World Conference.
