Vector Fields Announces Award Program For Best 2006 Student Paper

Aurora, IL -- To celebrate the achievements of Bill Trowbridge, founder and former chairman of Vector Fields Ltd., who retired last year, Vector Fields announced the setting up of an award for the best 2006 student paper.

The award will be given for the best academic publication on work that uses either of Vector Fields electromagnetic design software, Concerto or Opera, which is published in the open literature between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2006. In order to be considered, the paper must be submitted on an application form that can be obtained from Vector Fields Ltd. or Vector Fields Inc.

Entries will be subject to Terms and Conditions, a copy of which can be obtained from Vector Fields. Papers will be judged by an independent team of experts that will be appointed by Vector Fields Ltd. The prize for the winning paper will be a laptop computer and license for the software reported in the paper. The award is open to any student registered for a higher degree.

Entries must be received by January 31, 2007. The winning paper will be announced by February 28, 2007.
