Varactor Diode

Source: Sprague-Goodman Electronics, Inc.

A line of silicon high Q abrupt, hyperabrupt and super hyperabrupt tuning varactor diodes offer low series resistance. The GVD1200 abrupt models are 30 V diodes. Sixteen values are offered for frequencies from VHF to 1500 MHz for applications from narrow to medium bandwidths. The three hyperabrupt series (GVD 30400, GVD 30500, and GVD30600) feature high capacitance ratios, suitable for VCOs working at frequencies from VHF to 1.5 GHz.

The model series described above are available in the economical SOT-23 package, or in chip form. Common cathode models are listed for all values. Device dissipation in the SOT-23 package (at 25°C) is 250 mW. Junction temperature is 125°C, and operating temperature is –55 to 125°C.
