Universal Cable And Adapter Kit For Microwave And RF Field Repairs In Rugged Environments Introduced
Stroudsburg, PA -- The recently launched Oasis Universal Cable & Adapter Kit from MegaPhase has been designed to meet the needs of field installers and engineers that repair and maintain RF and microwave systems in the most challenging conditions, from extreme heat to extreme cold. MegaPhase invested years of development perfecting the tools and adapters in the universal kit to meet the demanding applications of the defense and telecommunications industries.
Initially designed to support the US Marine Corps' Testing Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), technicians supporting the Warfighter now easily test and connect antenna farms for anti-artillery and communications. The Oasis Kit provides a wide spectrum of adapters to meet any contingency in the field. The kit is complete with common set of adapters that are completely interchangeable. The rugged kit is waterproof and complies with MIL-PRF-28800F. The adapters can be easily selected from water-resistant foam, even with gloved hands.
"Field installers often work under harsh conditions, and the Marine Corps struggled to keep their antennae farms functioning, especially when original components came from several sources all over the world," recalls William Pote, president of MegaPhase.
