The QPL9503 from Qorvo is a flat-gain, high-linearity, ultra-low-noise amplifier (LNA) optimized for the 3.0 – 6.0 GHz frequency range. At the 5.5 GHz frequency mark, this LNA typically provides 21.6dB gain, 45.5 dBm OIP3 at 56 nM bias setting, and 0.95 dB noise figure. Biasing is also possible from a single positive supply ranging from 3.3 to 5 volts.
The QPL9503 is internally matched using a high performance E-pHEMT process, requires only five external components for operation from a single positive supply, and integrates a shut-down biasing capability to allow for operation in TDD applications. This LNA may be used in many other applications involving repeaters, mobile infrastructures, LTE/WCDMA/CDMA/GSM, and other general wireless applications.
