Ultra-Light D-Subminiature Connector: AMPLIMITE Series
The AMPLIMITE by TE Connectivity is an ultra-light subminiature connector is 15-20% lighter than typical brass connectors. Its weight, coupled with the fact that it is designed to meet NASA 311P requirements for space, make it ideal for use in satellites, launch vehicles, or other space-based applications.
The one-piece aluminum shell not only offers a critical weight advantage. This connector also features improved EMI performance in comparison to standard brass connectors. The AMPLIMITE Ultra-Light Connectors feature a 10-20 dB improvement in EMI performance and meet M24308 requirements. It’s also magnetic, intermateable with other D-Subminiature connectors, is offered in standard and high density configurations, has a -55°C to 125 C° temperature range, and is available in vertical and right-angle PCB mount versions.
