Ubidyne Names Michael Frankle Chief Executive Officer

Ubidyne, the leader in Antenna Embedded Radio technology for the wireless industry, announced recently that the company has named Telefónica O2 executive, Michael Fränkle, 40, as its Chief Executive Officer.

Michael Fränkle joins Ubidyne from Telefónica O2 in Germany where he has served as Vice President with responsibility for Access and Transport Technology Planning and Engineering for both the mobile and fixed networks. Over the last 12 years at Telefónica O2, Mr. Fränkle held various positions in technology management in radio access planning for GSM and UMTS networks as well as in core and service development. Previous to his most recent role, Michael Fränkle served as Chief Technology Officer of the fixed broadband business at Telefónica in Germany and was responsible for merging this with the mobile organization. He started his career at Siemens AG in the public communications unit (now Nokia Siemens Networks) where he was involved in international network planning projects. Mr. Fränkle has been a member of Ubidyne's Board of Directors since November of 2009.
