Truly Flexible Coaxial Cable Assemblies – minibend™

Source: HUBER+SUHNER

The minibendTM series of flexible coaxial cables is comprised of four different models with variations in frequency ranges, insertion loss, and more. Each cable has been triple-shielded for high isolation and eliminates the need for right angle connectors. This page provides an overview of those models and their features and specifications.

minibendTM

The minibendTM line has a frequency range of up to 65 GHz and is a direct replacement for .086 inch semi-rigid cables. They’re designed for use in low profile, internal, point-to-point interconnections between RF modules within communications systems.

minibendTM L

The minibendTM L line of coaxial cable assemblies covers up to 50 GHz and is a also a direct replacement for .086 inch semi-rigid cables. It features increased phase stability and power handling capacity over the standard minibend line and has been designed for use in complex and congested environments where higher cable retention force is required.

mini141TM

mini141TM assemblies have an up to 40 GHz frequency range and are a direct replacement for .141 inch semi-rigid cables. They provide 20% lower attenuation than what you’d get with standard flexible cables and eliminate the need for predefined custom lengths and bend configurations.

microbendTM

microbendTM flexible coaxial cables have an up to 90 GHz frequency range and are direct replacements for .047 inch semi-rigid cables. Their most notable features is their 35% lower loss when compared with .047 inch semi-rigid cables.
