We design and manufacture high quality/premium value RF interconnects specializing in Telecommunications, Military/Aerospace and Television/Broadcast Industries. Founded in 1960, Trompeter has established a reputation for producing quality interconnection systems and components. We have earned that reputation with innovative designs, quality manufacturing and engineering support plus our world wide network of knowledgeable sales representatives. Trompeter is registered for ISO 9001 both in the U.S. and in Europe through Det Norske Veritas (DNV). All of our products are manufactured in our modern 45,000 square foot factory located in Westlake Village, California approximately 30 miles northwest of Los Angeles.

Our product offering includes a wide range of Coax, Twinax and Triax connectors, cables, tools and cable assemblies. Trompeter products meet standards such as MIL-C-49142, MIL-STD-1553B data bus, and MIL-C-39012. For the Telecom market we manufacture BNC connectors, digital cross connect components and patching products. Our Serial Digital high frequency video patch jacks, BNC connectors, video patch cords, patch panels are widely used in the Television and Post Production Industries. As the Age of Digital has arrived in the television broadcast industry, Trompeter is HDTV ready.

We seek close customer engineering relationships so that we can develop and design application specific products together when one of our many standard products will not meet custom needs. We are especially proficient at supplying product where reliability and performance are critical.

Our extensive list of customers includes every North American telephone companies including Pacific Bell, NYNEX, Bell Canada and Telefonos de Mexico, in addition to such well known companies as CBS, Lockheed Martin, AT&T, Raytheon, American Broadcasting Company, SAIC, Marconi, Hughes and others.
