The A4 series of solid dielectric trimmer capacitors has been extended to include a 5 pF version that tunes from 0.6 to 5 pF with five full turns for fine resolution. The capacitor measures 0.325-in. long with a 0.16-in. diameter. It is available in a surface-mount, leaded pc, or strip-line configuration. Other features include: +125-VDC voltage rating with a high voltage option, quality factor (Q) of more than 2000 at 10 MHz, and a self-resonating frequency of 1.8 GHz at 5 pF.
