The MathWorks to Sponsor European Aerospace and Defense Conference During Paris Air Show
The MathWorks (Natick, MA) is sponsoring the European Aerospace and Defense Conference at the CNIT Congress Center in Paris, from June 16-17. Aerospace engineers and scientists from around the globe will meet to exchange information and ideas about their use of Matlab, Simulink, and other MathWorks tools and learn from other industry experts about current flight control, avionics, and GN&C design issues. This conference, hosted by Scientific Software Group, the MathWorks distributor in France, will be held during the eight-day period of the Paris Air Show at Le Bourget, just a few kilometers from the European Aerospace and Defense Conference.
The conference will feature more than fifteen presentations by a set of representatives of aerospace and defense organizations such as Aerospatiale Missiles, DaimlerChrysler Aerospace AG, Snecma, IMI Advanced Systems Division, Alcatel Space Industries, the Canadian Space Agency, and Aermacchi. Presentation topics include autopilot design, developing aerospace solutions from the initial concepts to implementation, Mu and H-infinity control design, and hardware-in-the-loop simulation.
These experts will share how they are using the MathWorks Matlab and Simulink products to reduce development time and costs, while increasing the quality of their designs. Participants can also visit the software and exhibition areas, which will provide demos and more information on how the MathWorks products are used to solve complex design problems in the aerospace and defense industry.
