TF10399 Tunable Notch Filter Datasheet
The TF10399 is a compact, high-rejection tunable notch filter engineered for demanding RF applications including jamming mitigation, communications receivers, ESM receiver protection, and electronic warfare. It tunes across 1200 to 1900 MHz with 1 MHz typical resolution and delivers impressive stopband rejection ranging from 29 dB minimum to 93 dB maximum, with 55 dB typical performance.
The absorptive design keeps rejected signals from reflecting back into the system, and multiple units can be cascaded to create multi-notch configurations. Passband insertion loss stays below 2.1 dB across a broad 693–4220 MHz range, while return loss meets a 16 dB minimum. The filter switches notch frequencies in approximately 25 microseconds, making it well-suited for fast-hopping interference environments.
Power and control are handled entirely over a single USB 2.0 connection, simplifying integration into test setups. An onboard temperature sensor and FPGA-based control architecture, combined with an internal DAC for tuning voltage generation, round out the functional design. The unit is operable from –40°C to +60°C. RF connectivity uses standard SMA female ports, and the device ships with both a graphical user interface and a Python API for flexible control.
With a typical IIP3 of 34.32 dBm and a maximum passband RF power handling of +30 dBm, the TF10399 is built to survive real-world signal environments while protecting sensitive downstream receivers from strong narrowband interference.
