D-TA’s EW Threat Emulators are based on the concept of streaming baseband waveform (I/Q) data from deep memories (hard drives). The result is a paradigm shift in EW threat emulation. Unlimited emitter density, No signal drops, compact size and drastic cost reduction.

Any waveform (radar, comms, others) with any modulation can be emulated for any duration (as disk space is virtually unlimited). Why can’t our competition do this? I/Q data streaming from hard drives requires many tens of gigabytes/s of sustained data throughput rate from computer storage (RAID server) to RF Generators to create wideband RF output(s). We have perfected this technology.
