Terminated Circulators
The FAN series terminated ferrite circulators with aluminum nitride terminations
N/AAN series terminated ferrite circulators with aluminum nitride terminations are a viable alternative to conventional berrylium oxide (BeO) terminations. The series operate from 869 MHz to 1990 MHz at power levels up to 60 watts, making them suitable for PCS and cellular applications. The "more perfect" third port match gives the devices phase consistency of ±5° (typical).
Typical insertion loss is 0.3 dB max. and isolation is 22 dB min. The series of terminated circulators have VSWR of 1.20:1 max. and 50 W impedance. They can operate in the –10°C to +85°C temperature range.
