Temex Ceramics To Launch New Tuner Capacitors, Ferrites, RF Power Capacitors

Pessac, France -- Temex Ceramics, a provider of RF and microwave passive components, has announced the release of three new product lines – Chip Trim ceramic tuner capacitors, low intermodulation distortion (IMD) ferrites, and application-specific RF power capacitors. Temex will introduce these new offerings during the RF & Hyper Europe trade show, March 27 to 29, in Paris, France.

The new Chip Trim line of ceramic trimmer capacitors are RoHS compliant and surface mountable, with low temperature coefficient, low capacitance drift, and a high Q factor. The AT 0300 and AT 1300 series, withstanding 100 VDC, are specially designed for industrial and commercial applications such as alarms, communication equipment, temperature-controlled crystal oscillators (TCXOs), voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs), and security systems. The AT 03HV00 series, withstanding 350 VDC, has a working voltage proof of 770 VDC for applications in circuits where high voltage and a ratio of quality/price are critical.

Temex will also introduce a new line of low-IMD ferrites. These ferrite products are key elements in radiocommunication equipment, from small drop-in devices to high-power waveguides. Temex can manufacture custom shapes and technical compositions to evaluate efficiently the impact on IMD.

Finally, Temex has a new series of application-specific RF power capacitors based on parallel and series combinations of designer-acclaimed capacitors. These capacitors feature computer matching sets, a range of mechanical configurations, a protective coating, and adapted ribbons or wires. The power capacitor solutions are suited for applications where high reliability, high operating voltage, high operating current, low ESR, and tighter tolerances are required, such as: medical electronics, broadcasting equipments, semiconductor manufacturing, inductive heating, MRI high magnetic environments, and military systems.
