TE to Showcase High-Performance, Lightweight Cables and Connectors Designed for Extreme Depths

TE Connectivity (TE) is featuring a range of new, innovative harsh environment solutions at OSEA 2012. The latest developments in lightweight, high-performance cables and connectors suitable for extreme depths will be on display at Booth #1J4-12 (UK Pavilion) on November 27-30, in Marie Bay Sands, Singapore.

The following products and solutions will be featured:
Rochester Electro-Optical Cables – Naval organizations throughout the world rely on both Raychem and Rochester Cable branded products for applications including submarine towed array cables, helicopter dip sonar cables and electro-optical cables for ROV salvage and recovery. Each cable is designed, developed, and manufactured to rigid specifications tailored to the particular application.

C-Lite Lightweight Cables – C-Lite cables use advanced thin-wall insulation and jacket technology to dramatically reduce the size and weight of cables - without reducing the electrical or mechanical properties. From general power and lighting to communication, control and instrumentation applications, the C-Lite cable family is designed for use in a variety of commercial marine, offshore and military marine applications.

DEUTSCH 9316 Series Connectors – Stainless steel connector that can be merged with a bronze screw coupling collar and anti-unscrewing system, available in 7 shell sizes and 23 classic arrangements from 1 to 121 section contacts, 300 mm² to 0,6 mm².

DEUTSCH DO3000 Series Connectors – Insertion Loss < 0.5 dB - Back Reflection < -40dB Wet Mateable - 8 contacts max. Operating Pressure: up to 300 bar (4,350 psi).

Cold Applied Splice – Designed as a single component in-line splice to provide high environmental protection to seal the termination from moisture and provide electrical isolation, without heat or tapes. The one-piece construction not only simplifies use, it allows a compact space-saving profile.

Cable Identification and Labels – Cable identification solutions include heat shrink sleeves, pre-marked wire and cable markers, tie-on-cable markers, wrap-around markers and wrap-around wire labels.
