N/A-house capabilities that include design and environmental testing, as well as manufacturing capabilities, <%=company%> offers subassembly design and manufacturing services. A range of RF/microwave signal/processing components, plus embedded microprocessor firmware design, helps reduce the time it takes to create the subassemblies.

Switch matrices are common examples of subassemblies from KDI that utilize the performance and multiple configurations of the SWX series of switches that allow the matrix to achieve a high level of isolation. A common use for a switch matrix subassembly is for testing antenna receiver paths in cellular and PCS base stations.

Insertion loss of a 12-way matrix is typically 2 dB and the frequency range is 1.85-1.99 GHz. The maximum VSWR is 1.35 under all conditions and all circuit RF paths are matched within ½ dB of each other. The switches are internally terminated and will drop into the 50W termination in the "off" position.
