Storm Products Introduces 26.5 GHz Miniature Flexible Cable Assemblies

Woodridge, IL -- Storm Products–Microwave has added a 0.160"-diameter cable to its Storm Flex line of miniature flexible cable assemblies. The 26.5 GHz Storm Flex 141 is a high-strength, flexible replacement for RG402 semi-rigid cable.
For applications that call for electrical performance typical of 0.141" semi-rigid assemblies and reduced development costs, Storm Flex 141 offers a classic compromise. The cable is designed to fit standard 0.141" semi-rigid connectors, eliminating costs associated with time-consuming semi-rigid cable layout.
Storm Flex 141 cable assemblies feature a solid PTFE dielectric that delivers high compression resistance, while an ultra-high strength, multilayer outer braid eliminates cable breakage associated with repeated handling of small flexible and semi-conformable cable types.
Storm Flex 141 assemblies can be customized to meet specific requirements, and are also available off-the-shelf in a number of popular lengths terminated with precision SMA straight plug connectors.
