Stanford Microdevices Announces IPO

Stanford Microdevices, Inc.er <%=company%> (Sunnyvale, CA) announced the initial public offering of 4,000,000 shares of its common stock at a price of $12.00 per share. The company shares will begin trading on the Nasdaq National Market under the symbol "SMDI." The company is selling all of the shares.

The managing underwriters of the offering are Deutsche Banc Alex Brown, Banc of America Securities LLC, CIBC World Markets, and FleetBoston Robertson Stephens. The company has also granted the underwriters of the public offering an option to purchase up to an additional 600,000 shares to cover over-allotments, if any.
