Spectrian Divides Into Three Business Units

Sunnyvale, CA-based RF amplifier supplier Spectrian Corp. is restructuring itself from a single organization into three distinct business units that reflect the company's different product lines.

The company now consists of the Single Channel Power Amplifier Business Unit; the Multicarrier Power Amplifier Business Unit, and the Semiconductor Business Unit.

The three business units, each led by a separate vice president/general manager, operate as individual organizations responsible for product development, manufacturing, revenue and profitability, while using the company's common resources including accounting, personnel, marketing, and sales.
