Solid-State Magnetron Transmitters Shape The Waveform Using Marx Topology
Bedford, MA /PRNewswire/ - Diversified Technologies, Inc. (DTI) has introduced a high power, solid-state magnetron transmitter featuring a new Marx modulator that permits tuning of the pulse wave for fine-tuning the device.
DTI PowerMod™ High Power Solid-State Magnetron Transmitters utilize Marx topology for adapting the pulse shape in order to optimize the magnetron's performance and its delivery of 3 to 50 kW peak RF. Capable of driving magnetrons across the L to Ka band, they can be used with all major transmitter technologies including cathode, mod-anode, and grid pulsed.
Providing precise RF control to within < 0.1% and 50 ns rise/fall, adjustable from pulse-to-pulse, and support pulse repetition frequencies up to 400 kHz, DTI PowerMod™ High Power Solid-State Magnetron Transmitters are a "plug and play" module with two multi-pin circular connectors and two BNC connections in addition to the magnetron which measures only 10" x 13" x 9".
DTI PowerMod™ High Power Solid-State Magnetron Transmitters are priced from $50,000.00 to $300,000.00, depending upon radar system requirements.
