Richardson RFPD Introduces Pair Of GaAs Hybrid Amplifiers From ANADIGICS

Richardson RFPD, Inc. recently announces immediate availability and full design support capabilities for two new GaAs hybrid amplifiers from ANADIGICS.

The ACA2786 and ACA2788 each consist of two pairs of parallel amplifiers that are optimized for exceptionally low distortion and noise figure with input and output transient voltage protection. These rugged devices include an integrated ring wave surge protection, as well as superior ESD protection of >7kV, and are offered in standard SOT-115J packages. They are designed for distribution nodes, system amplifiers, and line extenders in CATV HFC distribution systems.

Key features of the ACA2786 include:

• Operating Range: 40 MHz to 1 GHz
• Gain: 25 dB
• Gain Flatness: 0.5 dB
• CTB and CSO: -70 dBc
• Supply: 24 V
• Supply Current: 430 mA

Key features of the ACA2788 include:

• Operating Range: 40 MHz to 1 GHz
• Gain: 28 dB
• Gain Flatness: 0.5 dB
• CTB and CSO: -70 dBc
• Supply: 24 V
• Supply Current: 430 mA
