Richardson RFPD Introduces New DC-12 GHz Reflective 10 W SPDT From UMS

Features broadband performance and a robust 0.25 µm gate length GaN/SiC pHEMT process September 19, 2018 – Geneva, Ill.: Richardson RFPD, Inc. announced today the availability and full design support capabilities for a new reflective SPDT switch amplifier from United Monolithic Semiconductors S.A.S. (UMS).

The CHS7012-99F is a monolithic FET-based, reflective switch amplifier that operates in the DC– 12 GHz frequency band. It is designed for a wide range of applications, from military to commercial communication systems.

The new device is developed on a robust 0.25 µm gate length GaN/SiC pHEMT process and is available as bare die.

Additional key features of the CHS7012-99F include:

• Insertion loss: 1.4 dB
• Isolation: 35 dB
• Input power at 1 dB compression (P1dB): +40.5 dBm
• Switching time: 20 ns
• Control: -25 V / 0 V
• Chip size: 1.15 mm x 1.65 mm x 0.1 mm
