Richardson RFPD Introduces Five New Freescale Airfast LDMOS RF Power Transistors
Power Product Line Now Includes Solutions for All Cellular Bands; Supports Small and Large Cell Base Station Applications
Richardson RFPD, Inc. recently announces immediate availability and full design support capabilities for five new laterally diffused metal oxide semiconductor (LDMOS) power transistors from Freescale Semiconductor, Inc. (Freescale).
The new devices are the most recent additions to Freescale's rapidly expanding portfolio of Airfast RF power products, which includes four devices targeting land mobile radio that are also available from Richardson RFPD.
The five new RF power transistors offer enhanced levels of performance designed to boost the efficiency, peak power and signal bandwidth of next-generation base stations. With these additions, the Airfast RF power product line now includes at least one solution for each cellular band, supporting small and large (macro) cell base station applications.
