Richardson RFPD Announces Availability Of MTB And MXB X-Band Filters For Satellite Communications And Radar From CTS
Monoblock ceramic frequency-signal bandpass filters offer advanced performance in small footprint
Richardson RFPD, Inc., an Arrow Electronics company, announced today the in-stock availability and full design support capabilities for two families of bandpass filters from CTS Corporation.
The MTB and MXB series are surface-mount, ceramic bandpass filters offering superior rejection, insertion loss, reliability, and peak and average power handling compared to other bandpass filter technologies.
These 6–12 GHz bandpass filters are suitable for X-band satellite communications and radar, as well as sensors, IF filters, and test and measurement applications.
Key features of the MTB and MXB bandpass filters include:
- Center frequency: 6–12 GHz
- Bandwidth: 0.15–2.0 GHz
- Insertion loss: 1.2–2.5 dB
- Return loss: ≥ 10 dB
- Stopbands: ≥ 30 dB
- Input power: 2 W average / 20 W peak (See below for higher power support)
- Footprint: 9 x 3 x 3 mm (MTB), 11.5 x 3 x 3.5 mm (MXB)
In addition to standard, off-the-shelf products, the MTB and MXB series can be customized to support alternative requirements.
