RFX Ltd. releases new smd precision OCXO

RFX Ltd. has released a new SC Cut OCXO oscillator in a (25.40 x 22.0)mm, 10.50mm tall, hermetically sealed case. This low profile precision oscillator has a standard 5-pad smd layout and an outstanding performance.

Temperature tolerance from +/-0.005ppm, phase noise - 155dBc/Hz at +1kHz, ageing of +/-0.1ppm for the first year and +/-1.0ppm max. over 10 years are achieved through the use of a high quality SC cut crystal and innovative design. Stratum 3E compliance may be achieved to GR-1244-CORE and GR63-CORE by this OCXO.

The oscillator is manufactured over a frequency range of (5.0 ~ 50.0)MHz, both standard and custom frequencies. Output is sine wave or CMOS. Voltage trim is provided sufficient to offset at least 10 years ageing.

The RFX manufacturing facility, based in Livingston, Scotland, is approved to ISO9001: 2000 and ISO14001: 1996 and is one of the world's leading suppliers of high frequency precision oscillators. The company produces innovative OCXO, TCXO and VCXO designs from 1MHz to 1GHz.

Applications for RFX precision oscillators include Satellite Navigation Systems, Satellite Positioning Systems, Airborne Systems, Mobile Telephone Base Stations, Radar Systems and System Networks.
