RFMW Offers New Coaxial Adapters For Low PIM Applications

RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for MECA low PIM, high-performance adapters. With right angle, bulkhead, in-series and between-series options, RFMW supports many distributed antenna system (DAS) interconnect requirements. PIM (Passive Intermodulation) is the non-linear mixing of two or more frequencies in a passive (or linear) device creating poor system performance. MECA’s Low PIM (-165dBc typ.) adapters offer rugged construction and excellent performance for in-building or tower top systems. For example, the ANF-DM-M01 is a N-Female to 7/16 DIN Male adapter with a maximum VSWR of 1.25:1 and supports systems up to 8GHz. ANF-DM-M01 adapters are rated for operation from -55 to +85 degrees C, making them a perfect choice for harsh environments. Made in USA, MECA low PIM adapters are available with N-type and 7/16 connectors.
