The Model SC1000 is an RF test system controller designed to facilitate the concurrent use of up to three signal generators, four power amplifiers, and four different RF loads for broadband RF testing. This device allows multiple pieces of field generation equipment to be integrated into one test set-up, alleviating the need to constantly change cables due to the frequency limitations of the individual pieces The Model SC1000 offers IEEE-488, RS-232, and manual control of the RF signal routing, and provides front panel indication via a 4 line vacuum fluorescent display. System interlock capability is also provided by sensing a switch closure. If the closure is not detected, the input signal is interrupted. The input signal is also interrupted during signal re-routing in order to assure cold switching of amplifiers and loads. Additionally, a switchable positive 12VDC signal and several open collector outputs are supplied. These signals can be used to provide external switch capability such as the antenna feed select of the Model TC1000/2000.
