RESISTIVE DC - 67 GHz PICK-OFF TEE: PT-0067CH Datasheet

The PT-0067CH is a compact, broadband pick-off tee designed to provide non-directional microwave signal coupling from DC to 67 GHz.

With a 15 dB pick-off loss and a 1 dB insertion loss on the through line, this component is ideal for applications requiring broadband signal monitoring in well-matched systems. Its resistive circuit design ensures consistent performance across an exceptionally wide frequency range, making it useful for both lab environments and integrated system designs where wideband coverage is essential.

Unlike directional couplers, which provide directional coupling with reduced reflections, a pick-off tee offers a simpler, non-directional approach to signal sampling. While this makes the PT-0067CH less optimal for applications requiring high isolation or minimal reflection, it excels in scenarios where extreme bandwidth, simplicity, and small form factor are priorities. In carefully matched systems, it enables engineers to monitor signals efficiently without the need for bulky or complex couplers.

The device’s broadband capability makes it particularly well-suited for high-frequency test and measurement setups, wideband communication systems, and advanced research applications where engineers need access to a sample of the main transmission line signal. Its miniaturized packaging further supports compact layouts and high-frequency PCB integration.
