Radiation Tolerant Voltage Controlled SAW Oscillator
This voltage controlled SAW oscillator (VCSO) features low phase noise, low vibration sensitivity, and rugged hybrid construction in a hermetically sealed, 1.0” x 1.0” x .2” SMT Kovar package.
The API725 VSCO is ideal for applications involving phase lock loops, local oscillators, low noise clocks, and clock recovery with rugged design for space and military markets. Its design is based on a fundamental VCSO in the 350 to 1000 MHz frequency range that can be internally frequency multiplied by 2 or 4 to provide output frequencies in the 700 MHz to 4000 MHz range. This SAW oscillator has been tested with radiation exposure up to 200kRad. It has an operating temperature range of -55oC to +100oC
