Radiall Signs License Agreement with Tyco Electronics for Modular EPXA and EPXB Connectors
Rosny sous Bois, France -- Radiall announced that it has signed a license agreement for the new generation of EPXA and EPXB modular connectors.
The EPXA and EPXB series are high-reliability panel mount rectangular connectors developed by Radiall. They are composed of a wide range of shells, inserts, accessories and contacts. EPXA and EPXB inserts can accommodate electric, radio frequency, and fiber optic contacts. These components can be supplied separately and assembled by the user. This modularity offers maximum versatility and allows for an infinite combination of connectors with a small number of components.
The objective of the agreement between Radiall and Tyco is to guarantee dual sourcing to Radiall's customers while proliferating this concept of modular connectors through the exchange of technical information ensuring intermateability and interchangeability for both existing products and new product extensions.
