Powerwave Technologies Sells LMR/SMR Product Line to VoCom Products

Irvine, CA-based Powerwave Technologies Inc. has sold a portion of its Land Mobile Radio (LMR)/Specialized Mobile Radio (SMR) amplifier product line to VoCom Products Co. (Meadows, IL). The products sold include analog RF power amplifiers for the LMR, SMR, repeater, and trunking applications. LMR/SMR amplifiers typically operate in discrete bands within the 30 MHz to 960 MHz frequency range.
